The Asian Academy of Human Resource Development Research Conference 2025

Welcome
The Graduate School of HRD, National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) is pleased to host the 24th Asian Academy of Human Resource Development Research Conference in Bangkok, Thailand during November 12th – 14th, 2025. With the theme of bridging the gap through the team-up to accelerate network for growing opportunities, we cordially invite scholars, scholarly practitioners and professionals working in any specialized fields of HRD to contribute to the conference by submitting and presenting papers, participating in forum discussions, and attending workshop. We urge potential contributors to thoroughly examine this document, as it outlines crucial details pertaining to the conference and the call for submissions.

Guidelines for Submissions:
1. Review the Call for Submissions document
2. Submit your scholarly work by uploading it to the submission system (LINK HERE)
3. Ensure to obtain confirmation of your submission. It is imperative to receive this acknowledgment; in the absence of such confirmation, we recommend a review of your submission process
The conference accepts manuscripts of original research that has not been published elsewhere. Researchers and scholars, scholarly practitioners, and HRD professionals in all academic fields and governmental and enterprise fields are invited to contribute papers that are related to the following themes:
- Organization Diagnosis and Development
- Organization Well-being and Mindfulness
- Sustainable HRD: Green HRD, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
- Organizational Culture in Digital Era
- Testing and Measurements in HRD
- Leadership and Positive Psychology
- HRD in Entrepreneur/Startup
- Technology and AI in HR
- HR Innovation and Transformation
Accepted papers will be presented during paper presentation sessions of the conference. Each paper presentation will be approximately 15 minutes. Review Process
The official language for this international conference is English. The refereed session submissions are blind peer reviewed. Please remove all author-identifying information from the uploaded document that is submitted for review, including acknowledgements, since this is the document that the reviewers will be reading.
All submissions are reviewed based on the following criteria:
- Significance/contribution to the HRD field
- Clarity of aim and purpose
- Theoretical foundations and relevance and thoroughness of literature review and/or conceptual framework
- Appropriateness of methodology and methods
- Quality of reporting of results and discussion
- Appropriateness of conclusions and/or recommendations
- Quality of paper Overall clarity and quality of writing
- Relevance of paper to conference theme
Submission and Important Dates
Submission should be made to one or more of the following categories:
1. Refereed papers (full manuscripts)
Full paper length | Up to 6,000 words in length (all inclusive) |
Title page | Do not include author(s) names, institutional affiliation |
Abstract | 250 words or fewer |
Keywords | 3-5 keywords listed |
Presentation | 15-minute presentation will be allocated for each paper |
Note. During submission, authors must decide whether to include only an abstract or the full manuscript in the Conference Proceedings. This choice is to be finalized at the point of initial manuscript submission and is irrevocable.
2. Work-in-Progress (WiP) papers
Extended abstract length | Up to 1,200 words in length (all inclusive) |
Title page | Do not include author(s) names, institutional affiliation |
Keywords | 3-5 keywords listed |
Presentation | 15-minute presentation will be allocated for each paper |
Note. A work in progress (WiP) could be either a research proposal or a research paper with preliminary results. Accepted extended abstract will be included in the Conference Proceedings.
3. Refereed Posters:
Extended abstract length | Up to 1,200 words in length (all inclusive) |

Presentation | Posters will be grouped together to share a 90-minute session in the venue organized by the host. |
Note. If the poster submission is accepted, authors will resubmit the poster abstract with necessary revisions. Authors will be responsible for producing and preparing the posters. Titles and extended abstracts for the poster session will appear in the conference program and in the conference proceedings.
4. Practice-based papers/panel discussion/workshop (Non-refereed): Interested professionals and institutions (research institutes, companies, consulting agencies, etc.) may propose in this category to demonstrate good HRD practices.

Details | A proposal should have significant learning potential, must be based on sound theory and research, and should not be for publicity or commercial benefits. The submission should cover – Substantiation of the need – Review of the purpose of the paper/panel discussion/workshop, design and approach that will include an outline of the session’s organization and timeline – Description of how the session will be conducted – Description of the various perspectives offered that includes an explanation of how those perspectives will add to the discussion – Description of how the session contributes towards the advancement of HRD |
Presentation | Scheduled as one 75-minute session that will be facilitated by the host(s) of the session. |
Note. A submitted proposal will be reviewed and approved by conference committee based on the above criteria. If the submission is accepted, authors will resubmit the abstract with necessary revisions. Titles and extended abstracts for the session will appear in the conference program and in the conference proceedings.
Instructions to Authors
- All author-identifying information that has been removed (including information in document file properties) is to be provided in the submission system.
- The document should be in Times New Roman font (12 pt.) and double-spaced, and in PDF only.
- The running head should be formatted according to APA 7th edition with page numbers in the upper right-hand header.
- Separate title page formatted as outlined in APA (include title only for blind-review)
- Abstract page formatted as outlined in APA—including succinct overview and keywords (maximum of three). Each manuscript must meet the requirements outlined for that type of submission.
- Headings (level 1, level 2, etc., according to APA 7th edition).
- Tables and Figures (APA labeling format). Authors should include figures and tables within the text where they are intended to appear.
- Based on review reports, the Editors reserve the right to reclassify manuscripts to different categories.
The language of paper submission and conference presentation will be in English.
